TigerAs the sun rises on a new day a baby tiger is born unto the world. he learns to frolic and play but he also gets scraped by the sticks. His friends learn to respect him for in his jungle, he is kind. His rawr is mightier than all the rest. He looks out above his kingdom, feels accomplished for mastering this, becoming so untouchable. In the distance he spots a female tiger, the one who can see beyond his scars and is not frightened by his fierce rawr. She will be the one to touch the untouchable and to prowl the jungle with -her- king.Tiger

Summer's NightThe sun set hours ago and the time when I should have gone to bed has passed. I sit here feeling suffocated by my own thoughts and emotions. Today was scorching but since the sun set it has cooled off considerably. I grab a long sleeve shirt and my favorite running shoes and throw them on. I think about grabbing my cell phone but I doubt anybody will call. It is too late for that so I leave it on the table. I start walking down my driveway. It is secluding, surrounded by tall trees on both sides. By the time I reach the road I am jogging. I pick up the pace once I am on the road.
